Description

Game studio based in Bordeaux, France. It was started in 2017 by two graphic artists and a programmer, to publish their Neo-Aztec shoot'em up. It's goal is to craft original, fun and beautiful games with small teams, so that all members can really put their soul into the art.

History

Before Manufacture 43, "Trois Pintes" was the codename of the company. It is french for "three pints". Two of those probably were Carlsberg's and one was Magner's cider. The thing to remember here is that it is that night of mid-2015 that Alex, Charles and Daniel officially talked about doing something together.

By the beautiful and sunny docks of Bordeaux, the ideas mattured around a shoot'em up with some new mechanics. But it's only by the beginning of January 2016 that the team seriously started working on their first game together: Pawarumi. It eventually released in 2018 on PC and on all then current consoles a year later. Through their partnership with Eastasiasoft, that they met while exhibiting at the Tokyo Game Show, they got the chance to make their game physical on Nintendo Switch and PS4. A dream came true.

Without enough funds to spend in marketing, Pawarumi got great reviews but did poorly commercialy. Charles and Alex went on to new adventures. Daniel stayed doing some contract work to keep the company afloat. Today, the company is working on a new arcade/adventure game about saving lives.
